Nowadays, we can see a lot of progress in Malay movie production. This means that many people to get involve in this industry. Its good, but also I think I need to comment something. The thing is, whenever we want to develop something; movies, tools, business, we need to do survey on market demand first, don't you think? But most of the films made nowadays doesn't fulfill market's need. That's why most of the movies made locally are ' tak laku'.
But first, we can look at this particular producer and director, Afdlin Shauki. For me, I've never been so fascinate with Malay movie until I saw one of his work. He thinks out of the box, making peoples love by the genius of his humor. Its not like 'lawak bodoh'. He really know how to treat his audiences on what they really want to see at screen. My opinion maybe bias, but how bout you guys? Can you guys give me some comment on this issue. Or maybe you can suggest any other director that worth to be praised.
For me, I do respect local product. But first, the product must respect their market first, don't ya think? So, all I can wish is, "good luck and always strive for success local movie producer"..

yasmin is one of the bright mind in malays movie industry. what i can say for her is,she made a new perspective of the malay movie.
currently,i've seen a good new comer yg agak bagus la..ahmad idham's work also can be respected..but there's still some more room to be improved..
But for sure,not prof madya a razak moh....'s work..too narrow minded lol..x berkembang langsung

back to real story..ahmad idham's work start to be acknowledged since Mr. Cinderella. after that,he starts maturing in this filming industry.
