The sweet and bitter experience~

As we stepped in 2008, I looked back and think of what happened to me in previous years. So many things that I could say has taught me to become much better person. Well, that's what experience are supposed to do. Ya, from a teenager to a young adult. When I was a teen, I'd think what would it feel like to be an adult where they can enter bar or snooker center legally. I've been playing snooker since I was at 14 years old. At that time, I always enter that place illegally until my father couldn't take it anymore..haha. Whenever I'm not at home, he'll try search at snooker center, but you know what.. I never stumble or kantoi upon him..hehe. Lucky me.During my school years, I never play truant without my parents knowledge. So it means if I don't want to go to school, I just stayed at home. Good kid eh? So it means that I never get to be labeled bad kids during that age. My teachers always scold me though because always coming late to school.hehe. King of late comers..

I started to drive at 16 years old. A bit late if compared to my friends. And my driving license approved after SPM later next year. Since then, I've had at least 5 accidents. And one of it almost cost a live a woman and her kids. That could be the worst driving experience ever to me. If any of my classmates could remember (which I'm sure they never forget this event) that day we went to picnic. I was driving. On our way back, we were so tired till everyone asleep. It was raining. I wouldn't say I slipped in the rain but I made a deadly mistake by falling asleep on the wheel. Well, I wish I wouldn't admit this, but I couldn't run from the fact that I've almost cost this lady a life. She's suffered a broken hip and a concussion. Illizarov apparatus was put as an external fixature. Oh, wait do spelled this right?. Well, she's on that illizarov for almost 2 months. This is the mistake i regret most.

There's something I always want to ask.. Have you ever killed or almost killed a person? If you haven't, please I would beg to you. Be more careful when you behind the wheel.

This is some part of things that had happened to me. I've shared it here and hoping that one of my classmates would read it and never forget that black event.. To all the person that have involved and reflected in my life whether in good or bad way, it shaped me to whoever I am now. Thank you very much..

*p/s: credit to adinishi pi for correcting the apparatus used.. (Illizarov not olizarov)thx anyway. I'll make sure I'll keep that in mind.

HAPPY NEW YEAR...

Hurm, I'm tired of thinking new resolution every year. Maybe because most of it is just far beyond reach..hahaha. Maybe sometimes I'm not the reality is not as sweet as what we might think they are. Okay, lets start a new one this year. I'm going to make a new resolution. And I hope its a reachable one..heh.
    1. Try to reach at least 3.0 for my final CGPA in this final semester (just a little bit more...)
    2. Finish my thesis (well, at least Dr. Sazlina pleased when reading it)
    3. Can tolerate more with annoying people..(sabar itu separuh dari iman... especially during driving.heh)
    4. Ya of course, I want to improve myself to a better person. Those who knows me, I'm really grateful to have your help in this matters
Hmm, anyway I want to wish all

    Happy New Year 2008

    Congratulation my friend..anep~

Last night my friend told me that he's been invited by one of the professor in Japan to be one of his speaker to represent Malaysia as he replied and shown interest in the professor's theory on model of treatment. I'm really shocked to hear it. But he deserve it. His hard work to study the theory finally paid off. The thing is, I envy him. He still not even graduated yet but he's already been invited to share his knowledge and apply it to our community.
Hanif, if you reading this, I just want to let you know that I'm really proud to know you. I know a lot of people has been caling you the proud of UKM. And know you've proven that you are. Congratulation to Hanif..

    Tired of waiting...~

Have you ever wait for your food in a restaurant for a very long time and your stomach starts growling and patient were tested. Last night I was going out to have my diner at one of the so-called famous restaurant with their fast service and a good food.

I don't know what's happening to the restaurant actually but somehow their service last night was really poor. Well I suppose that night really ruined their good reputation so long they've built. Can you imagine, I arrived at the restaurant at 10.25 pm (I was driving all day to kuantan and back and I haven't had anything along the way). By the time we got to our table it was around 10.40pm.

You know what time we got our food? Just before 12am, then they served our meals. I'm so hungry and angry at the same time. Ok, some might think that I should walk out earlier. I'm not denying that I have that certain thoughts in my mind too that night. But I refused to go because I'm so hungry. And after we got the food, the food was so poorly made. It ain't what it used to taste like.

Another thing that made me so angry is the cashier try to charged us with the food that hasn't arrived yet(we ordered it) and said that we couldn't wait for our food. OMG, I'm so angry at that moment. We've waited more than an hour just to get the food that was tasteless and the service was really poor that night. I think this might be the last time I'm going to that restaurant. This one particular night really ruined the so-hard-to-build good reputation.

Hmm, there goes my night. Tired, frustrated, angry, and not so good food.

    New update..

Today is Dec 16 2007. It's almost new year already. There's too many things I want to do before the new year comes. And I don't think I fulfilled all this year resolutions. Sometimes I thought if we could turn back the time, we ought to change our way of living. Hm, well thats the thing. We lived for the future, not the past. Since 2008 is just around the corner, maybe we could make resolutions that suits us better and more relevant than something you made just to put on a pile of trash you left behind when another year comes.

By the way, I just got back from Bandung, Indonesia. It was a nice experience to travel. I'd like to share a few things about this country, but not now. I haven't got a chance to upload my pictures yet. Maybe when I have, I give another post here. Pictures are important. It tells thousand words.

    Beggar..should we pity them??

I'm sure most of us have confronted by beggar. The purposely try to show pitiful faces to gain sympathy from the public to get some money. I can't say I'm not sympathy with them. But I'm sure this is not the only way that they can do to gain money to continue their life. Its not because I'm cruel, or didn't have a heart towards them. But what do you think if so many beggar in our country, its not just spoiled the view or the place, but also they have made the human power in our country reduced. I can think a lot of things that they can do to help our nation grow. But they'd choose a shortcut, just sit in a corner or in the middle of passageway in a public places to make people notice them and hoping someone giving them money.

You know what, I've heard there's a research done by some NGOs they want to know how much they can gain by just being a beggar. Some of them managed to get almost RM4000 per month. When I heard about this, I somehow felt despise this type of person. I'm not saying that all of them don't deserve our sympathy because some of them do need things like this. But the person who didn't deserve this are the spoiler. There's an old malay saying stated that "Kerana setitik nila, rosak susu sebelanga". I'm here just want to express my dissapointment in some person. They should've known that they can help our nation grow by giving them man power, I mean local man power and help reduce foreign workers..

Recently, I like to surf and read others posts. If I like what I've read, I'd like to post it here too. Now I have quotes that I got from a friend and I'd like to share here. Think about it...

    On Friendship

    • Real friends are the ones who survive transitions between address books.

    On Relationship

    • The most effective way to remember your girlfriend’s birthday is to forget it once.

    On Marriage

    • A successful marriage requires falling in love many times, preferably with the same person.

    On Parenting

    • Having one child makes you a parent; having two makes u a referee.
    • A child’s greatest period of growth is the month after you’ve purchased new school uniforms.

    On Finance

    • I believe we should all pay our tax with a smile. I tried - but they wanted cash.
    • Saving is the best thing. Especially when your parents have done it for you.

    On Self Awareness

    • You’re getting old when you enjoy remembering things more than doing them.

    On Miscellaneous

    • Regular naps prevent old age… especially if you take them while driving.
    • Laziness is nothing more than the habit of resting before you get tired.

Thanks to banji for this quotes...

    What is Love??..~

A student asks a teacher: What is love?

The teacher said: in order to answer
your question, go to the paddy
field and choose the biggest paddy and
    come back.
But the rule is: you can go through them
only once and cannot turn back
    to pick.

The student went to the field, go thru
first row, he saw one big paddy,
but he wonders....may be there is a
bigger one later. Then he saw
another bigger one... but may be there
is an even bigger one waiting for him.

Later, when he finished more than half
of the paddy field, he start to
realize that the paddy is not as big as
the previous one he saw, he
    know
he has missed the biggest one, and he
regretted. So, he ended up went
back to the teacher with empty hand.

The teacher told him, this is love...
you keep looking for a better
    one,
but when later you realize, you have
    already miss the person

The student asked: What is marriage then?
The teacher said: In order to answer
your question, go to the corn
    field
and choose the biggest corn and come back.
But the rule is: you can go through them
only once and cannot turn back
    to pick.

The student went to the corn field, this
time he is careful not to
repeat the previous mistake, when he
reach the middle of the field, he
has picked one medium corn that he feel
satisfied, and came back to the
    teacher.

The teacher told him, this time you
bring back a corn....you look for
one that is just nice, and you have
faith and believe this is the best
one you get.... this is marriage.
