Eat to live... or live to eat?? Lol..

Lamb for 4.. come and join finish the meal...

Well I would say that I've heard that Arabs eats a lot. They even manage to eat a whole lamb just for 4 persons. At first I thought they just saying that literally, I don't know that was the truth. Until I saw this picture in one of my friends page, now I believe it. The Arabs sure now how to eat. heh. Mountain of rice, whole lamb just for 4 persons meal at one time. By just looking at it made me startle.

I think if they brought this kind of meal into Malaysia, I'm quite sure that stroke and heart disease rate will increase greatly. The Arabs enjoy their meals but most of them didn't perform sedentary lifestyle like Malaysian.

Anyone want to try this kind of meal? Let me know and I'll tell you how can I get it for you.

Oh, you're just begging for a comment from me this time. hehheh.

That picture is a typical meal of Nasik Yaman, which is the closest thing to something like Malaysian food here. (Sebab Nasi...)

Anyway, it's a mountainload of nasi minyak and a big portion of grilled lamb/chicken. which as you eat it, you get 'muak' very easily because it's SO. DRY. Takde kuah langsung.

Oh, and when the Arabs eat it, they don't really finish ALL the rice. Sometimes they don't finish the thing at all. This is wasteful. Bazir Je.

you are right - the really big portions cause a lot of the Arabs to be pretty big sized.. actually many are in fact obese around here. And yeah, strokes and heart problems are more common in these groups.

Ya i like this kind of food.. But it isnt suitable for taking it daily.. it will be very tasty if you eat it when you are really hungry like you dont eat a year then you go to this stall you will be..

I like to order 'syurbah' which means 'soup' anda 'salatah' sambal.. i do squweez half lemon on it.. dont forget the frech onion and chilies.. all this will avoid the 'muak'.. satisfied..

if your lidah is very Malaysian you just need to make a kuah kari or dalca then it will be a perfect dish..
